Using Principle 360

Sign up

  • To register with Principle 360 simply click the register button on the login page.
  • Complete the form and click 'Register'.
  • You will receive an automated email from the website which asks that you verify your email address by clicking on an active link within the email.
  • Upon your verification, you will receive a second email advising that your registration has been sent to the 360 administrator for approval.

Managing my personal profile

You can access and edit your personal profile at any time by clicking on the down arrow at the side of your name.

Once you have made required alterations simply click 'Update'.

  • Recommended image size: 400 x 400px
  • Click on the blank avatar. 'Upload a picture' will appear.
  • Select a photo from your computer or device.
  • A box will appear over your photo, selecting part of it. Drag this selected region to crop your photo, or resize the region by clicking and dragging one of the region corners.
  • Review your changes and then click 'Apply changes'.

The Principle 360 dashboard

What the icons mean on your Principle 360 dashboard.

  • : By clicking this icon you will be taken back to your main dashboard page.
  • : This is where you will receive opportunities from Principle. You will know when an opportunity has been sent to you as a white number in an orange circle will be visible.
  • : This is where you will receive notifications from Principle such as expired documentation or opportunities. You will know when you have a notification as a white number in an orange circle will be visible.

Setting up and managing a company profile

Now you have registered with Principle 360 and been approved, you can now add and build your company profile.

  • Click 'Add company'
  • Add your company logo from your computer by clicking on 'Select file'. Optimal size - 100 x 60px.
  • Fill in the fields (those marked with an asterix are required). When you are happy click the orange tick in the top right of the box.
  • You will now be taken to your main dashboard where you can add your clients, disciplines, sectors, upload documentation, add company news and more.

Dashboard: Summary page

Now you have registered with Principle 360 and been approved, you can now add and build your company profile.

  • Profile Status: The percentage displays shows you how complete your company profile is. To see what makes us this percentage and how to improve yours, simply click on the '?'.
  • Clients: Click on the + symbol to add a client. Click on the orange tick when complete. You can add multiple clients. To amend / delete a client hover over the client in question then click on the pencil icon. If you click on the 3 dots in the top right you will be able to delete, or you can amend the details by selecting the text you wish to update.
  • Area of Operation: In this section you can add the countries where you provide services and the disciplines within those areas. Click on the '+' icon, then type in the name of the country. You can then select the whole country or define an area. To do this follow the instructions below. To amend / delete a country / discipline hover over the country in question then click on the pencil icon. If you click on the 3 dots in the top right you will be able to delete, or you can amend / add disciplines by simply checking and unchecking the boxes. If you cannot find the correct discipline, please contact the 360 administrator.
    • Click on 'Edit Bounds' at the right of the country field.
    • On the map that appears click on the 'polygon' icon (to the right of the hand) at the top of the map.
    • Click on the map to draw your area of operation.
    • Click done when complete, or clear to start again.
    • You can move the map by clicking on the hand icon.
    • You can then select the disciplines provided within that country.
  • Industry Sectors: Click on the + symbol to add the sectors your company works in. Click the orange tick when complete. To de-select a sector simply click the + button again and un-check the ticked sector. If you cannot find a suitable sector please request this addition from the 360 administrator - principle-360@principleglobal.com.
  • Addresses: If your company has multiple offices you can add their addresses in this section. Click on the + symbol and fill in all the fields. When you are happy click the orange tick in the top right. To amend / delete an address hover over the address in question then click on the pencil symbol. If you click on the 3 dots in the top right you will be able to delete, or amend the fields.
  • Ratings Summary: This section will show you how you have been rated by a Principle Project Manager for work you have completed.
  • Users: Having other members of your company on 360 ensures that you share and receive information consistently and easily. You can add your colleagues to your company profile by clicking on the + symbol. Complete their name and email then click the orange tick (top right). If they are already registered on Principle 360 they will be automatically added to your company and an email will be sent to them that confirms this action. If not, they will be sent an email inviting them to register. To remove a user simply hover over their name and click on 'X'.
  • Contacts: You can add the contact details for key members of your team which will be viewable by Principle project managers. Click on the + symbol and complete the pop up form for each team member. When you are happy click the orange 'submit' in the top right. To amend / delete a contact hover over the address in question then click on the pencil symbol. If you click on the 3 dots in the top right you will be able to delete, or amend the fields.

Area of Operation

This page shows you a world map displaying your head office and regional offices as markers. You can also filter the map by discipline to display locations where those disciplines are available. All the information on this page has been drawn from the input supplied on the Summary page. If you need to edit any information please click on Summary and edit as required.

Documents

  • This version of Principle 360 allows you to add any documents you feel would better inform us about your business and your competencies. Wherever available this should include:
    • Any insurance certificates or policy documents for Employer Liability, Professional Indemnity, Product Liability or Public Liability as applicable
    • A Health & Safety policy
    • Company standards that have been achieved such as ISO 9001, 14001 etc
    • Registered membership of recognised Authorities or professional bodies such as Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC), Safety Schemes (SSIP), Safecontractor, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), UK Asbestos Training Association Accreditations (UKATA), National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) or (ECA), International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), Prefabricated Access, Suppliers and Manufacturers Association (PASMA)
    • Import Licenses
    • Scheme certification that reinforce competencies such as Working At Heights (WAH), Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSTS), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), First Aid attendance, Manual Handling etc.
    • An update available later this year will prompt you with which specific documents will be required as applicable for your disciplines. Although you will still be presented with the opportunity to upload any additional documents that you think will enhance your profile, such as a list plant, warehousing capabilities, transportation or equipment you may have available etc.
  • To add a document click on the orange button 'Add new document', select the relevant file from your computer and give it an appropriate name. When complete click the orange tick.
  • You can amend or delete a document by hovering over it and clicking on the pencil symbol. If you click on the 3 dots in the top right you will be able to delete.
  • You can also filter your documents by using the 'Filter results' box. Select the type of document and date range you are looking for.

News

Tell us about your latest company news and updates.

  • Click on the orange circle with white + symbol.
  • In the areas provided type a short summary followed by more detail (in the area noted News Article). You can also add a link to your company website / blog if required.
  • Once added you can edit or delete the news item by hovering over it and then clicking on the pencil symbol.

Conformance

In this section you will be able to view any issues that have been raised relating to projects you have worked on with us. To respond to these issues please contact the relevant Principle Project Manager. If an issue has been logged this will be flagged within the 'Notifications' section.
